Our Impact

TechTribe.UK established in August 2015, has since run nearly every school break an event that hopes to inspire young people or old to take up learning new technologies from 3D Printing, Coding and designing games.

Around 250+ Students over the past academic year and over 500+ students since inception.

Our passion is new technologies sharing it in creative format from our experimental TechTribe.UK Discovery Lab where participants bring in their own maker project or be inspired by our experts and we deliver sessions in number of venues from artist studios, coffee shops to large education institutions.

Piloted advanced workshops and now running our Video Games Design Club a regular session delivered by young industry expert.  Fully packed sessions all of them, we seems to always need a waiting list and sadly have turn down places!

We even had themed events from building worlds (ours was called noom) to  TechTribe.UK Motion edition where people got try their hand at designing and building their own moving creation out of junk materials, 3d designed printed parts and electronic motors. We’ve even Jammed things up recently in our TechTribe.UK Summer 2017 Edition of activities we held our first Raspberry Pi Jam!

Our heart is in London but we go further over the UK via partners and supporters across the UK hence why we have dot UK in our name. We have held events/(micro)workshops/festivals in London (Redbridge, Hackney, Newham, Barking & Dagenham at numerous locations within the different  boroughs) and other pop-up places across South East UK and collaborated on world stage with online events related to tech education.

We work closely with communities hence why we have Tribes in our TechTribe.UK name. From Venue providers like Rabbits Road Institute etc Equipment providers like Create Education, Skills Enterprise etc. to many other supporters take look at Our Supporters Page  connecting people with opportunities or organisations that is the way we support our volunteers. With rewarding experiences and support network that no traditional money can buy from the initial hello to the continued support even when not directly involved in day to day activities.
